Cari Account Page Redesign
Overview
The goal was to redesign the account page for GetCari to improve user engagement, simplify navigation, and enhance the overall user experience.
My Role: Researcher | Designer
Key Challenges
Low User Interaction: Users were not engaging with account settings, resulting in incomplete profiles and missed opportunities for personalization.
Poor Navigation: The order tracking feature was difficult to find, leading to user frustration.
Lack of Visual Appeal: The existing design lacked hierarchy and felt cluttered.
Design Process
User Research & Pain Points
Conducted user interviews and reviewed app analytics to identify issues with the account page.
Key findings:
Users struggled to locate important account settings.
The process of tracking orders was unintuitive.
Visual design didn’t encourage engagement with account features.
Initial Concepts & Wireframes
Developed multiple wireframes focusing on:
Clear navigation paths for easier access to account settings and order tracking.
Profile personalization by introducing user avatars and editable contact information.
Visual hierarchy improvements to prioritize key actions (e.g., edit profile, track orders).
User Feedback: Shared wireframes with test users to gather feedback on navigation and design clarity. Adjustments were made based on insights.
Final Design Solutions
Improved Visual Hierarchy:
Restructured the layout to provide clear, easy-to-find access to essential features such as order tracking, settings, and profile updates.
Emphasized key actions using buttons and visual cues.
Added Profile Personalization:
Introduced a profile picture feature along with editable fields for contact details, enhancing personalization and user connection with the app.
Streamlined Order Tracking:
Order tracking was moved to a more prominent position and included clearer steps for users to follow, enhancing the order experience.
